Hey guys, it’s been a while since I posted anything. Well it’s been very hectic at my work since Christmas and New Year is just around the corner. Hopefully I will be posting more frequently from now on. So here goes.
I’ve been asked by many of you about MMS on iPhone 2G. Me myself aint a that big fan of MMS, but i did a little googling and some testing on my iPhone and it seems its not that hard to do. Before we start, I only tested this on my iPhone 2G running iPhone OS 3.1.2 and it works perfectly. It may or may not work on other OS versions, so please let me know and try at your own risk. And this works only if your iPhone is jailbroken and the app or modification used in the little tutorial is not my work and i do not claim it, it is the work of http://www.ifoneguide.nl/ I am only writing this little tutorial 
Now that that’s out of the way, lets get start. First you will have to add the repository to Cydia if you dont have it added. So first open up Cydia. and goto Manage.
Now select Sources and search for iFoneguide repository. If you cannot find it you will have to add it. To add, tap Edit and then tap Add, which should pop a little box where you type http://cydia.ifoneguide.nl and tap Add Source, which will add the new source for you. Once the source has been added it should look similar to the screenshot below.
Now select Search and search for Native MMS and it will show you Native MMS iPhone 2G tap that and install it. Once the installation completes restart your iPhone.
After the reboot goto Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network and you should have MMS setting when you scroll down just like the screenshot below.
Thats it. Now you just make the MMS settings for your mobile operator and you got MMS working on your iPhone.

Its not working for dhiraagu after inputting the setting in the APN, stil have to use swirleyMMS

did you also setup MMSC and MMS Proxy?? below are my settings,
APN = mms.dhimobile
MMSC = https://mmsc.dhimobile.com.mv
MMS Proxy = 172.24.97.4:8080
after entering those i had to restart the phone, and it worked fine afterward

dude.. doesnt work for me.. i mean like apn doesnt save itself after i restart.. but the proxy and stuff are there.. wats next???
after you restart enter the APN and stuff, then it should stay

hey dude, use either mms.dhimobile or internet.dhimobile both of them should work fine
